Drywall Repair in Kansas City
Holes, cracks, and water damage patched and painted to match — you won’t know it was ever there.
Drywall Repair in Kansas City
Holes happen. Door handles, furniture, anchors that pulled out, kids, moving day — whatever caused it, you’re left with an ugly patch of exposed drywall that’s been staring at you for months. Most homeowners either live with it or attempt a DIY fix that ends up looking worse than the original damage.
We do this every week. A clean patch, properly feathered and textured, painted to match — done right the first time.
Quality Work
We take pride in our attention to detail and the precision of our installations.

What We Repair
- Nail and screw holes
- Small to medium punch-through holes (doorknob impact, furniture damage)
- Large section repairs and cut-outs
- Corner bead damage
- Cracks from settling or temperature shifts
- Water-damaged drywall (after moisture source is resolved)
- Popped drywall tape and seams
- Ceiling repairs and patches
- Texture matching (knockdown, orange peel, smooth)
- Pre-sale and landlord turnover repairs
Our Process
- Book and confirm — pick a time, get a confirmation text, we show up in the window
- Assess the damage — we look at the size, depth, surrounding texture, and paint situation before quoting
- Patch and skim — damaged section removed or filled, mesh or backing installed on larger holes, joint compound applied and feathered
- Sand and texture — dried compound sanded smooth, texture applied to match the surrounding wall
- Paint to match — finish coat applied; for best results bring the original paint color or we can color-match on site
Pricing
Drywall repair is quoted based on the number of patches, hole size, texture complexity, and whether painting is included. We give you a clear price before any work starts — no hourly surprises.
We don’t post a flat rate for drywall because a nail hole and a 12-inch water-damage cutout are completely different jobs. What we can tell you: most single-patch repairs are straightforward, and doing several patches in one visit is almost always more cost-effective than separate callouts.
Book online or call us for a quote — we can often scope it from a photo.

FAQ
Can you match my wall texture? In most cases, yes. Knockdown, orange peel, and smooth are the most common and we handle all three. Highly custom or original plaster textures may require a conversation first.
Do I need to supply paint? If you have the original paint, bring it out — that’s the easiest match. If not, we can color-match at a paint supplier and add it to the job. Just let us know when you book.
How big of a hole can you fix? There’s no upper limit — we handle everything from nail holes to full section replacements. Larger repairs just require more dry time between coats, which may mean a two-visit job for the best finish.
How many patches can you do in one visit? As many as you have. Most customers save money and time by walking us through the whole house and doing everything at once rather than booking separate visits.
Do you fix water-damaged drywall? Yes, but the moisture source must be resolved first. We won’t patch over an active leak — the repair won’t hold and it masks a bigger problem. If you’re unsure, we’ll tell you on-site.
How long does the repair take to dry before painting? Joint compound typically needs 24 hours per coat to dry fully. For same-day paint, we use fast-dry compound on smaller patches. Larger repairs may require a return visit for the paint coat.
Can you fix ceiling drywall? Yes — ceiling patches and texture matching are well within our scope.
What if the damage is from a past repair that looks bad? We fix bad patches too. Skim coat, re-texture, repaint — we’ve seen plenty of DIY attempts that need a do-over.
Do you do full drywall installation for new construction or additions? That’s outside our scope. We focus on repair and patch work in existing homes.
